You will receive a receipt of completion when you have successfully completed the course. You can print out the receipt of completion and give it to your insurance company to receive your insurance discount.
How much is my insurance discount?
It provides a guaranteed
5%
reduction in the base rate of your liability, no-fault, and collision premiums. Many insurance carriers offer a
10%
reduction for 3 years. Contact your insurance carrier or agent to find out the exact amount they offer.
When does the insurance discount begin?
As long as you turn in the completion certificate within 90 days, the discount begins on the completion date.
Are you approved by New Jersey State DMV?
Yes, we are approved by New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission, formerly known as the DMV or Department of Motor Vehicles.
How long is the defensive driving course?
The course is six (6) hours long.
How often can I take the Defensive Driving Course?
